Run The Yard is a powerful extension of Tech on the Yard, a national initiative by the MBS.Tech Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3), created by founder Miranda Stanfield to continue her mission of expanding access and opportunity for HBCU students.
Built on the same belief that technology and education are gateways to equity and generational transformation, the initiative was designed to provide direct financial support through scholarship funding and community-driven investment.
Through Run The Yard, Miranda is bringing together culture, wellness, and purpose to ensure that deserving students not only have access to education but also the resources, support, and community needed to thrive and lead in the next generation of innovation.
An HBCU student will be awarded a monetary scholarship funded through race proceeds and community donations.
A family-friendly celebration of health, culture, and togetherness with a DJ, prominent guests, and community vibes.
